These FREE concerts are part of the MPAC Silver Hall Concert Series.

February 28th Performance:

Divergent Voices - Lilyanne Dorilas, violin

Featuring both the Case University Circle Symphony Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dr. Kathleen Horvath and the Case Camerata Chamber Orchestra conducted by Dr. George Nicholson.

Program to Include:

  • “American Landscape” by Soon Hee Newbold
  • “Nucleus” by Kristian Schembri, a Cleveland Institute of Music doctoral student in composition (world premiere for this concert)
  • "Voyage for String Orchestra" by John Corigliano
  • “Concerto No. 1, Movement II: the Golden Hour” by Lilyanne Dorilas, a CWRU violinist, Case Concerto Competition winner and the first winner to compose and perform her own piece for the competition
  • “The Light of Three Mornings” by Gwyneth Walker
