This hour-long performance will be followed by a panel discussion to help us reflect, discuss, and respond to the testimonies we have heard. Come be inspired to embrace and support flourishing for all our neighbors.
Guest artists include poet “Vision” (Nailah Muhammad), and vocalists Salina Turner and Fred Clark.
Nailah Muhammad aka Vision is a daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She is also a Spoken word artist, published author, playwright and poet. She has been writing and performing in Cleveland and all over the US for over 15 years. She is a member of the OAPN the Ohio Arts Professionals Network recently showcasing at Playhouse Square, The Maltz Auditorium and Severance Hall along with many other amazing places. Vision, has encountered unique ways to fuse her love for humans, love and healing into her poetry. Under her poetry company VisionInk, LLC, she gifts the stories of love through Visions Wedding Poetry, and as a Certified Trauma and Resiliency Specialist has created a Healing Poetry Workshop which provides spaces of healing creativity, and awareness of each individual's competencies and strengths. She truly believes as we focus on identifying and honoring our competencies and strengths, we increase our self love and self appreciation and this becomes contagious.
Her works have been featured in various publications with Literary Cleveland. She has also recently completed her book "With Vision A Collection of Poetry for Women Who Desire to Be Seen" and believes that words can give life or take it away, so she uses hers to give life and healing for those who stand to listen...
