Join us for the first concert of the 2023-2024 Silver Hall Concert Series: Russian Duo and Friends!

Oleg Kruglyakov, balalaika virtuoso from Siberia and Terry Boyarsky, American pianist (aka Russian Duo) collaborate with performers from orchestra, chorus, and theater for a unique and elegant synthesis of music and literature for the stage.

Chris Bohan headshot

Christopher Bohan is a Cleveland based actor and teaches acting and improvisation for the department of theater at Case Western Reserve University. He holds an MFA in Performance from Wayne State University, where he spent a summer studying acting at the Moscow Art Theater.

Grammy nominated violist Eliesha Nelson has been a member of the Cleveland Orchestra since 2000. She is an avid chamber musician. Outside of teaching and performing, she enjoys couture sewing, hydroponic gardening, the active Cleveland arts scene, and camping with her family.

Peter Wright is a tenor, voice teacher, and choir director in NorthEast Ohio. He is the Artistic Director for Choral Arts Cleveland, Assistant Conductor for Cleveland Chamber Choir, and for five years has served as Music Director for Church of Our Saviour Episcopal. Mr. Wright has sung professionally with many ensembles--including Cleveland Chamber Choir, Quire Cleveland, Cleveland Opera Theatre, Akron Baroque, Musica Dayton--and has been a featured soloist for numerous oratorios, recitals, and religious observances. Mr. Wright accepts a small number of students at a private studio where he teaches singing in the classical style, as well as musical theatre, jazz, and pop. A trained latinist specializing in medieval Latin, Mr. Wright professionally translates texts set in musical works from the classical tradition.
