Joe Lovano is one of the seminal voices of the tenor saxophone of the last 40 years. We’ve created an extraordinary program that covers Coltrane, Sinatra, and excerpts from The Surprise of Being, which featured Joe in an historic collaboration with the CJO at Birdland in NYC, 2006. We will also be joined by Joe’s wife, vocalist Judi Silvano. A heroic evening and a rousing conclusion to our season!
