The Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards is the only juried American book prize focusing on works that address racism and diversity. Join us to celebrate the 2022 Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards winners: 

  • Percival Everett, “The Trees,” Fiction
  • Donika Kelly, “The Renunciations,” Poetry
  • George Makari, “Of Fear and Strangers: A History of Xenophobia,” Nonfiction
  • Tiya Miles, “All That She Carried: The Journey of Ashley’s Sack, a Black Family Keepsake,” Nonfiction
  • Ishmael Reed, Lifetime Achievement

The awards ceremony begins at 6 p.m. followed by a reception, book sale, and author signing at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are free but required; limit two tickets per guest. Free parking will be available. 

Please note that face masks are required at all Cleveland Book Week events.
