Join the Baroque Dance Ensemble as they collaborate with the Early Music Singers! The Baroque Dance Ensemble was formed to provide an outlet for students to learn and perform 17th- and 18th-century dance. The ensemble meets collectively twice a week and performs one to three times per semester. The Early Music Singers was founded in 1978 by Beverly Simmons as part of Case Western Reserve University's nationally renowned Historical Performance Practice program. Since 2016, the group has been directed by Dr. Elena Mullins. Repertoire ranges from medieval chant to Renaissance madrigals and masses and occasionally to baroque operas and oratorios.
