Activities

CBHI is dedicated to increasing collaboration among brain health sciences at Case Western Reserve University and our affiliated hospitals. We highlight events at our member institutions on our home page, and give you access to our CBHI activities right here. Whether you join one of our Study Groups, attend our quarterly Translational Neuroscience Lectures, or come to our Annual Meeting, we hope that you connect with us.

Our 2018 Annual Meeting featured our inaugural Story Landis Lecture, Dr. Landis herself, and the first meeting of our Study Groups. The 2019 Annual Meeting featured Huda Zoghbi MD who gave the Story Landis Lecture, and Dr. Michael Roizen, who gave the first Lecture on Brain Health. The 2021 Meeting was virtual, and featured Christopher Walsh MD PhD as the Landis Lecturer, and David Standaert MD PhD as the Neurodegeneration lecturer. Planning for the 2022 Annual Meeting is now underway!

CBHI enjoys a long standing relationship with the Youth Engaged in Science Program headed by Nathan Berger MD, helping to place Cleveland high school students into neuroscience laboratories to gain research experience. We have had several iterations of CBHI Summer Students join us, mentored by our graduate student "near peer" mentors.
