Financial Aid
Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine partners with the Financial Aid office to help prospective and incoming students optimize their financial aid options. The Financial Aid office administers all financial aid and provides comprehensive information for graduate students.
Once accepted into a program, students may complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Application using school code 003137 to determine eligibility for federal financial aid.
To receive federal financial aid, students must be U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens and meet additional Federal Student Aid Financial Aid Eligibility Requirements.
Types of Aid
- Student Loans: For graduate students, there are several types of low-interest loans available. These include Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans and private loans
- Outside Scholarships: Students are encouraged to explore outside scholarship opportunities through scholarship search services and inquire with employers, local foundations, clubs and community organizations. Students should notify the Financial Aid office of any outside scholarships received.
Memorandum of Assistance (MOA)
All students applying for financial aid are required to submit a Memorandum of Assistance (MOA). The MOA is completed by the student’s academic department and submitted directly to the university’s Financial Aid office.
