The School of Graduate Studies operates degree programs across a number of subjects, including degree programs for the College of Arts and Sciences or the School of Engineering.  Find out if your degree program is operated through the School of Graduate Studies.

Tuition and fees for current and prospective students of the School of Graduate Studies can be found in the tables below. This is provided for informational purposes and may not represent all fees and charges a student may incur.  Please visit Common Fees and Transactions for a description of common fees including contact information.  

CWRU faculty and staff are working diligently to provide courses for this upcoming semester in modalities that will enable all students to continue to move toward completing their degree and achieving their academic goals.  Regardless of the learning environment for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021, the tuition and fees will be the same. The tuition and fees are in exchange for learning, academic credit, and certain non-academic services that will be provided whether in person, in a hybrid environment, or entirely remotely, and tuition and fees amounts will remain the same in the event the mode of course delivery changes during the semester.

4 This fee may be eligible for waiver.  Please visit the Student Medical Plan website for waiver criteria and instructions to waive this fee.  Waiver will apply to both fall and spring semesters if done by the fall semester tuition due date.  If waiver is completed after the fall semester tuition due date, students must complete the waiver again for the spring semester.

5 Current sales tax rate is 8% and Spring fee includes Summer.  This fee may be opted-out through SIS by the semester tuition due date.  Students must opt-out every semester.

6 In Fall 2020 and Spring 2021, this fee is charged to College of Arts and Sciences graduate students (Master and PhD degree-seeking), School of Engineering graduate students (Master and PhD degree-seeking) except for those enrolled in the online programs, Master of Engineering and Management students, and Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) students.
