Envision Weekend: Learn more and register | Registration Due: July 12

The Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Engagement invites you and your parents or guardians to Case Western Reserve University for Envision Weekend.

The program is a 3-day experience designed to help underrepresented minority students (Hispanic/Latinx, African Americans, Native Americans / Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders and those of two or more races) visualize the rich future ahead of them at Case Western Reserve University.

Envision Weekend prepares incoming first-year CWRU students for university life by providing educational workshops, engaging panel discussions, and community-building activities before the start of the academic year.

There will also be programming for your parents and families during Envision Weekend! And there is plenty of parent programming during Discover Week, so be sure to check that out before making travel arrangements.

Envision Weekend Early Arrival Program runs from Friday, August 16 to Sunday, August 18 and will flow directly into Discover Week*. This means as an Envision participant move-in day will be Friday, August 16, with Envision programming to officially kick-off at 5 p.m. with a Welcome Family BBQ.

This program is free to all incoming first-year students and their families. Registration is required no later than July 12.

Registration can be accessed as a part of the Discover Week form

Take a look at the tentative schedule for students and parents and families.**

CWRU sophomore Martina Richter, who served as a Student Leader said, “Envision Weekend allowed the incoming first-year students to not only learn about the faculty and resources on campus, but also to learn what it is like to be an underrepresented minority student on campus…”

*Discover Week, CWRU’s required orientation before the start of classes.

**This schedule is tentative and, therefore, subject to change. A final schedule will be shared with registrants closer to the program date.
