Over the past year, faculty members from across the university have worked with University Technology’s ([U]Tech) Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) as part of a Digital Accessibility Learning Community (DALC) to develop resources and strategies for improving the digital accessibility of course content. Digitally accessible content removes barriers that prevent those with disabilities from engaging with content, and provides multiple ways for everyone to learn.
CWRU faculty and staff are invited to a “Digital Accessibility Learning Community Showcase” event Tuesday, May 24, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. via Zoom to hear the faculty fellows present strategies they have developed for improving the accessibility of their own courses, as well as their recommendations on how to foster continuous improvement in digital accessibility across the university.
Register for the event to receive the Zoom link.
