The AI Task Force was established by President Kaler and Provost Ward as a collaboration with the Faculty Senate. Composed of faculty, staff, and students, the task force is dedicated to promoting equitable and ethical access to AI training and tools, while guiding future discussions. By working to seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructures, the task force strengthens campus connections, bridges gaps, and enhances the effectiveness of our collective resources.
Vision
To promote equitable and ethical access to training and tools in artificial intelligence for education, research, and workforce efficiency, we aim to catalyze the development of innovative curricula that will prepare our students for success in a society increasingly shaped by AI.
Campus-Wide Support for AI Integration
Through piloting and launching new tools and offerings, the AI Task Force serves as a campus-wide resource, ensuring that every individual has the support and resources needed to thrive in an evolving educational landscape.
