Crystal Smith is department administrator for the Center for Evidence-Based Practices at Case Western Reserve University, where she manages all administrative activities for the Center; its staff of consultants, trainers, and evaluators; and its Center of Excellence initiatives. She provides support for consulting and evaluation services and fidelity-review processes and coordinates all of the Center's training and continuing-education activities, which includes collaborating with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and with continuing-education accreditation boards.

Crystal brings over 25 years of experience to her work. Prior to joining the Center for Evidence-Based Practices, she worked as the supervisor for clerical support at the Center for Families and Children, a behavioral healthcare organization in Cleveland. She has also worked at Key Corp and National City Bank. She earned an Associate of Arts at Cuyahoga Community College.

In 2017, she received the 19th Annual B. Lenora Benson Award for Excellence from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University.
