Welcome to the annual Stephanie Tubbs Jones Homecoming 5K and fun walk!
This year we continue to commemorate our beloved alumna, the Honorable Stephanie Tubbs Jones through a 5K race and fun walk! This race will take place at 8:30am on Saturday, October 14th. It will start in the DiSanto Track and Field.
Race Proceeds
All proceeds from the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Homecoming 5K race directly benefit a current student at Case Western Reserve. A grant will be awarded to an undergraduate student at the annual Undergraduate Honors Assembly held each year in April.
Named after respected double-alumna Stephanie Tubbs Jones, this award is given in honor of a true Spartan. It benefits an undergraduate, underrepresented CWRU student for significant contributions to campus life, scholarship, and community service—three characteristics best demonstrated by Ms. Tubbs Jones.
Race Registration 2023
Please consider joining the CWRU community for the Homecoming 2023 Stephanie Tubbs Jones 5K and Fun Run! This year's new route will start at DiSanto field and wind around north campus, followed by Wade Lagoon, then going by the Museum of Art & Wade Oval, turning down by the Museum of Natural History, then winding its way be over to DiSanto Field. To sign up, please register below. When you register you will be prompted to indicate whether you would like to register as a student or a community member.
For runners, the suggested donation is $10 for students and $25 for all other community members.
5K t-shirts will be given to all runners who register by October 2nd. All proceeds will directly benefit an underrepresented CWRU student.
