Get Involved

As a fraternity or sorority member, you now have many opportunities to get involved in the greater CWRU Greek Life community.

Also known as IFC. They are the student-run governing body of 15 fraternities on campus. Elections are held annually in the late fall semester. The positions of IFC include:

  • President 
  • Vice President of Administration
  • Vice President of Recruitment 

They conduct the majority of business in partnership with the Panhellenic Council (PHC) and share some officers:

  • Vice President of Citizenship - Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
  • Vice President of Citizenship - Wellness
  • Vice President of Citizenship - Service & Philanthropy
  • Vice President of Finance
  • Vice President of Marketing
  • Vice President of Communication

Large community-wide decision are made via motions in each organization’s general body meetings. Outside of general body meetings, each executive board member works tirelessly behind the scenes with Greek students, advisors and administrators to propel the community forward and help every Greek student get more out of their time at CWRU.

    • Director of Recruitment Events
    • Director of Recruitment Marketing

They conduct the majority of business in partnership with the Interfraternity Congress (IFC) and share some officers:

  • Vice President of Citizenship - Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
  • Vice President of Citizenship - Wellness
  • Vice President of Citizenship - Service & Philanthropy
  • Vice President of Finance
  • Vice President of Marketing
  • Vice President of Communication

Order of Omega recognizes the most distinguished scholar and leaders in the Greek community. Members are entrusted to safeguard Greek Community standards and help that community make continuous progress. The organization seeks to optimize the Greek experience while providing Greek members and their chapters with tools for personal and organizational growth. 

The Greek Games Committee organizes the various events, activities, and games throughout the year that brings chapters together for friendly competition. Members are selected annually in the spring semester following the conclusion of the April Greek Games Week. Greek Games Committee hopes to bring the Greek community together through shared experiences that promote unity, connection, and school spirit.

SMARRT consists of Greek Life Peer Educators who are most known for their Upstander 101 presentation for New Members.

Gamma Sigma Alpha, the National Greek Academic Honor Society, strives to promote the pursuit of scholarship at CWRU. Members demonstrate excellence in the classroom and work to help those around them achieve excellence as well, both in the classroom and in the workplace. They reestablished during the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Lambda Eta Mu is Case Western Reserve University's Greek Service Honor Society. Together with campus and community partners,  the organization seeks to enhance the quality of service and philanthropy done by those in the Greek community. Its members make a difference to humanity by lending a hand to those in need and in doing so will better their campus, their Greek community, and most importantly themselves. They reestablished during the 2025 - 2026 school year.
