Timeline
Fraternity recruitment occurs twice a year during the first 4 weeks of each semester. You can go to as many or as few events with as many or as few chapters as you would like. It's Choose Your Own Adventure Style!
Week 1
- Chapters hold individual events on and off campus
- Interfraternity Congress (IFC) will host an event this week or before
Week 2
- Chapters hold individual events on and off campus
Week 3
- Chapters hold individual events on and off campus
- Some events will be invite only
Week 4
Monday | Bid Day
- Chapters will set up a time 6:00 PM - 11:59 PM
- Meet in person, in public to offer bids
Tuesday | Consideration Day
- You can reach out to chapters for questions
- Chapters will not initiate contact with you
Wednesday | Decision Day
- Starting at 9:00 AM, you can share your decision with the chapter(s)
- Chapters will give deadlines for when a decision is needed
After Wednesday on the 4th week, fraternities can continue to recruit and offer bids on their own timeline.
