Timeline
A structured recruitment occurs in the fall (Primary Recruitment) and unstructured in the fall and spring (Continuous Open Bidding / COB). Fall Primary Recruitment is the only guaranteed recruitment option for the Panhellenic (PHC) sororities. COB has limited open spaces and limited chapters may participate.
Primary Recruitment
Primary Recruitment has been moved to the fall starting in the 2026 - 2027 academic year. It is open to all undergraduate students. For Fall 2026, Primary Recruitment occurs all day September 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th with bid distribution in the evening on September 14th.
With Primary Recruitment, you will meet all participating chapters. Chapters narrow down invites each day. Participants prioritize chapters each day but can be invited back to any group they day the round before. Participants make final decisions on Day 4.
Continuous Open Bidding (COB)
If needed, COB will start after Primary Recruitment ends in the fall semester and within 24 hours of the first day of class in the spring semester. This process is also open to all undergraduate students. It is never guaranteed for all groups and there are limited spaces for groups that do participate. Chapters will host individual events or 1:1s as needed.
