Maureen Wise

Maureen Wise joined the Office for Sustainability in February 2015. She obtained a double major in Biology and Writing from the Univeristy of Mount Union. Maureen worked for nearly a decade in Appalachia on a stream restoration and community involvement and revitalization project to return fish to a heavily polluted creek. Wise has also worked in higher education sustainability at Stark State College and is a freelance writer for a number of green and parenting websites. She is on the Tinker's Creek Watershed Board and lives on the edge of the Cleveland Metroparks with her husband and young son.
