Call for Stories about Earth Day 1970 at CWRU and Beyond

Wednesday, April 22, 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day celebrations across the country. We are collecting stories and pictures from CWRU faculty, alumni, and staff who were on campus on the very first Earth Day in 1970. We don't know if there was an on-campus event at CWRU, but hope to benefit from our campus’s collective knowledge and uncover some details. You are also welcome to share any personal recollections of the first Earth Day regardless of where they occurred.

Please email a few sentences, a short paragraph, or two to by Friday, April 17. Short stories may be shared on the Office of Energy & Sustainability’s website, newsletter, or social media. The Office will be in touch with further questions or a notice before they share your story.
