CWRU students, staff and faculty gather together each fall to celebrate the change of the season and the Squire Valleevue and Valley Ridge Farms
at the annual Farm Harvest Festival. Hosted by the Student Sustainability Council and the CWRU farm, the 4th annual FHF is on Saturday, September 19th from 1:00 to 6:00pm. Attendees will enjoy a delicious meal including items from the local harvest, bonfires & s’mores, cornhole, hay rides, a tall grass maze, and art exhibits and activities, like weaving, knitting, and DIY lip balm. Farm tours and hiking will be available to showcase the neat spaces that help drive the Farm Food Program. There is no cost to attend for CWRU students, staff and faculty. Other guests will be asked to donate $5 to defray the cost of food for the celebration. Buses are available from campus every half hour starting at 12:30pm in front of Thwing Center. Come on out and enjoy all that fall at the farm has to offer!
