freecycle: exchange used items for free, donate, wade, fribley, carlton, or the village, 11/28 to 12/1, trade, december 2, 12-5pm, tink senior classrom

Are you cleaning out your res hall room or office for winter break? Moving off campus second semester or studying abroad? Graduating? If you need to rid yourself of some clutter, don't trash your stuff, FREEcycle instead! This is a way to exchange used items for free. Donate your stuff and someone else can take it for free! Forget the landfill or the nonprofit middle man!

The Office for Sustainability will be hosting a FREEcycle event on Friday, December 2 from Noon - 5:00pm in the Tink Senior Classroom. Used clothes, books, home items, school supplies, and unopened nonperishable foods will be available at no cost. Items that are no longer wanted can be dropped off at the event or during the preceding week in collection boxes in area offices and residential halls around campus (including Wade, Fribley, Carlton and The Village). Donation and trade are encouraged but are not required to participate. All items that remain after the event will be donated directly to the Thea Bowman Center or another local charity.

This event is organized The Office for Sustainability's student Sustainability Ambassadors. Contact the office at sustainability@case.edu with any questions.
