The Office for Sustainability will host both our North East Ohio Zoos for the next Green Bag Lunch Series on Thursday, October 26. The event will take place in the Tinkham Veale University Center's Senior Classroom (room 134 behind the information desk) from noon to 1:00pm.
Learn how these zoos deal with the huge amount of recycling, landfilled material, compost and even animal waste (you know what we mean!) along with green buildings, energy usage and more. Sustainability managers from both the Akron Zoo and the Cleveland Zoo will give large screen presentations and be available for questions.
The Office for Sustainability will provide dessert and coffee. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch to eat during the event.
