Last semester, the Office for Sustainability hired 12 students to act as our hands and feet on campus, our Sustainability Ambassadors. You’ve already seen Erin Deasy’s Green Your Holidays infographic below. They are working on a lot more projects including a jeans recycling drive, res hall outreach and making videos. Each Ambassador is required to give two short presentations about our climate action plan to their peers such as a class, club or Greek life group as well as write a blog post for this setting.
Ambassadors were required to attend eight hours of training to be knowledgeable about CWRU’s green work. Above, they are playing Sustainability Jeopardy with our Sustainability Fellow, Erika Dunyak.
