Young woman with long hair Maggie McClarren

Maggie McClarren served as a Sustainability Ambassador during academic years  2016/ 2017 and 2017/ 2018. Both years she was on the energy team with a heavy focus on the annual res hall energy competition. Maggie was a Chemical Engineering major who graduated in 2018. During her time at CWRU, Maggie had an internship at P&G in Cincinnati. Since graduating, she has accepted a job as a Product Design Engineer at P&G in their research and development department in the FemCare Product Design group. Maggie tells us “The decision to take the job offer heavily drew from my positive experiences at the CWRU Center for Women and the CWRU Office for Sustainability. P&G completely embraces the gender equity and sustainability principles I gleaned from CWRU, internally and externally. All of our FemCare production plants are 0% waste to landfill worldwide. [P&G recently] acquired  the brand 'This Is L' to expand our natural product commitments.”
