The Department of Facilities Services within the Department of Campus Planning & Facilities Management at Case Western Reserve University strives to provide a safe, beautiful, sustainable campus environment. From utilities to maintenance, we provide prompt, professional services that support the mission, vision, and core values of the university.

The Facilities Services staff realizes the impact our campus buildings and landscapes have on your overall experience at Case Western Reserve University. With approximately 100 buildings on campus, 6 million gross square feet, and 267 acres, we strive to provide a safe, beautiful, sustainable university environment for learning, teaching, working, and playing.

Prompt, professional services support the mission, vision, and core values of CWRU. 

Responsibilities of the department include providing uninterrupted, reliable utilities, compliance with regulatory legislation, temperature control, custodial services, trash and recycling pickup, landscaping and lawn care, leaf and snow removal, irrigation and general craft trades associated with the day to day operations and maintenance of all buildings, grounds and utilities.

You may contact Facilities Services through the Customer Service Center at 216.368.2580. After-hours, all calls are forwarded to Public Safety dispatch. Only true emergencies will be addressed after-hours.
