There are plenty of ways to discover on-campus opportunities, but we’re using Interfolio to make the application process easier and more organized. By centralizing listings and streamlining document submissions, Interfolio helps you focus less on paperwork and more on finding the right opportunity.
How to Apply for a Student Employment Job at CWRU
Most student worker positions, with a few exceptions, must be submitted through Interfolio. Follow the steps below to find and apply for available positions.
Step 1: Search for Student Jobs
- Visit the Interfolio Student Jobs website
- Click the link to browse available jobs
- Use the Filter by Unit dropdown and select:
- “UGEN (STU)”
- Click the job title to open the position details
Step 2: Create Your Interfolio Account
You’ll need a free Interfolio Dossier account to apply.
- Click Create an Account at the bottom of the Interfolio sign-in page
- Fill in your email, name, and password (at least 6 characters, including 1 letter and 1 number)
- Select your role, country, and agree to the Terms of Service
- Optional: Uploading a resume or cover letter
- Some positions will require these items, and if they’re uploaded ahead of time it can speed up the process for you
Step 3: Apply to a Position
Once logged in to Interfolio, click Apply Now on the job posting.
Required Documents
- Click Add File next to each document
- Either:
- Select existing materials from your Dossier
- Or upload new files directly
- Green checkmarks will confirm when documents are uploaded
Personal Information
- Enter:
- Highest Degree Earned (choose the degree you’re working toward)
- Receiving Institution → enter Case Western Reserve University
- Date Earned → choose your expected graduation date
Forms & Submission
- Complete all required forms
- When every section has a green checkmark, click Review & Submit
After Submission
- Your application is instantly available to the hiring department
- Track status via Interfolio’s Deliveries page
- Departments may post updates or send emails regarding the position status
