New resources available at CWRU's Cleveland Health Sciences Library

Case Western Reserve University’s Cleveland Health Sciences Library has new resources available to faculty, staff and students.

  • Cochrane Interactive Learning course provides over 15 hours of self-directed learning on the complete systematic review process for both new and experienced review authors.   
  • JoVE: Journal of Visual Experiments provides access to more than 16,000+ videos illustrating experiments, concepts, research and lab techniques across multiple science disciplines.  
  • Embase is the world’s largest database of biomedical evidence from published, peer-reviewed literature, in press publications and conference abstracts.
  • VisualDx is a resource aimed at improving medical decision-making and enhancing medical education. 

To access the new databases:

  1. Open an incognito or private browser and go to case.edu/chslibrary/
  2. Select the Databases tab (middle of the page)
  3. Type in the name of the database or select "browse list"
