Berta Rojas's electrifying technique, warmth, and musical mastery have won the hearts of the public worldwide. Acclaimed by The Washington Post as an "extraordinary guitarist," she has become a world ambassador of classical guitar — transcending borders and forging bridges between cultures.Her Cleveland performance will feature an all-Latin American program entitled “Historia del Tango,” part solo and part with the Opus 216 String Quartet. This program includes a new suite of arrangements of music by Gustavo Santaolalla, winner of Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, Grammy Awards, and Latin Grammy Awards.

Berta Rojas was named Fellow of the Americas of the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts, for her artistic excellence, and her home country of Paraguay has honored her with the title of Illustrious Ambassador of Musical Arts. Berta focuses on promoting the music of her country, Paraguay, as well as Latin American music in general. In 2022, Berta received the award "The Golden Guitar: A Life Dedicated to the Guitar," granted by the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Milan. More recently, in 2023, she was distinguished with the National Order of Merit in the degree of Grand Cross, the highest recognition granted by the Republic of Paraguay.
