Housing Information

BNL provides an array of on-site housing options for visitors expecting to stay less than one year, including dormitories, family-sized apartments, efficiencies, and the Guest House. Space is assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Linens, cleaning services and, in some cases, cooking and eating utensils are provided. All rooms are equipped with refrigerators and access to cooking facilities.

For information about accommodations and rates, or to make a reservation, contact the Housing Office, (631) 344-2541 or housing@bnl.gov, or visit their website.

The Housing Office is open Monday-Friday (8 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and Sundays (4 p.m. to 10 p.m.) in the Research Support Building (Building 400). Those arriving or leaving at other times may pick up or drop off keys at Police Headquarters (Building 50).

A listing of conveniently located off-site hotels is also available.

Food Services

BNL Staff Services provides up-to-date details of on-site food services, including accessible vending machines. A listing of off-site eating establishments is also available, or you may contact resident CSB staff for their suggestions. For visitors without access to a car, BNL provides a shopping shuttle several days a week that stops by local grocery stores.
