Johannes von Lintig, PhD, Department Vice Chair for Research

As Vice Chair for Research, Dr. Johannes von Lintig provides strategic leadership to advance the Department of Pharmacology’s research mission. He works closely with the Chair to promote interdisciplinary collaborations, guide resource allocation, and shape the department’s research priorities. Dr. von Lintig also supports faculty development, fosters a vibrant research environment, and drives initiatives to enhance scientific impact and funding success.

 

 


Phoebe Stewart, PhD, Department Vice Chair for Education

As Vice Chair for Educational Programs, Dr. Phoebe Stewart provides leadership and oversight for the Department of Pharmacology’s educational offerings, including graduate programs, masters and undergraduate research. She works closely with program directors and faculty to support curriculum development, student success, and program innovation. Dr. Stewart also leads efforts to expand educational pathways, including the creation of a Pharmacology minor and major, and advises the Chair on teaching strategy and faculty engagement.

 


Derek J. Taylor, PhD, Department Vice Chair for Innovation, Translation, and Entrepreneurship

As Vice Chair for Innovation, Translation, and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Derek Taylor fosters collaboration and  advances initiatives to translate pharmacological research into clinical and commercial applications. He works to connect faculty with clinical partners, identify opportunities for commercialization, and strengthen industry partnerships. Dr. Taylor also helps develop student internship pipelines and supports fundraising efforts to advance the department’s research and educational goals.
