  • Alicia Carmeci Picture

    Alicia Carmeci

    Alicia joined the One to One Fitness Training Staff in 2022. She has a BS in Pre-Physical Therapy from Southern Oregon University and Personal Training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Alicia spent over 16 years as a classically trained ballet dancer with experience working with both The American Ballet Theater and The Oregon Ballet Theater. In addition, she spent 10 years instructing dancers ranging from young children to seniors and spent 3 years working as a physical therapy aide. She highly values functional strength and mobility training for long lasting physical health. Her goal is to help her clients achieve a new level of freedom in movement by combining whole body strength with targeted muscle training. In Alicia’s spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband, fly fishing, dancing, reading, cooking, and spending time with her dogs.

    Jason Chuhay

    Jason joined the One to One Fitness Training Staff in 2008.  His credentials include being a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer, Road Runners Club of America Certified Running Coach, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Crossfit Level 1 Endurance Trainer, TRX Suspension Trainer Qual 1, TRX Suspension Functional Trainer Qual 1, Kettlebell Concepts Level 1 Instructor, Jump Stretch Flex Band Instructor, and USA Track and Field Level 1 Coach. Jason also coordinates the One to One Fitness Running Club and instructs TRX, Kettlebell, High Intensity Interval Training and HardCORE classes. He ensures that each individual feels confident and well-informed about their exercise training techniques. Jason specializes in building stamina, bone density, balance and coordination, flexibility, self-confidence, and overall strength. His training philosophy is centered through intensified, functional exercise to obtain efficient, full-body workouts. During his free time he enjoys being outdoors, reading, listening to all kinds of music, and competes in road races throughout the year. 

  • Joseph Dennis, Jr.

    Joseph Dennis, Jr.

    Joseph joined the One to One Fitness Training staff in 2020. He is a certified personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise and has his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Akron in Strategic Organization Communications. Joseph developed his passion for exercise as a football, baseball and track and field athlete. His approach to fitness begins with developing and/or fine-tuning core body functionality and building strength, cutting fat, and building muscle from there, all while keeping the client safe through the implementation and education of proper exercise form. He really enjoys assisting clients of all ages and abilities reach their goals while also communicating ways to implement the dedication, mental fortitude and tenacity both inside and outside of the gym. Outside of the gym, Joseph enjoys reading personal development literature, spending time with family and friends and the occasional fishing or hiking adventure.

  • Kevin Foster

    Kevin Foster

    Kevin joined the One to One Fitness team in 2020 as a student shift leader, and has since become a NASM certified personal trainer. His passion for fitness started with water polo and soccer, where he fell in love with weight training. He was introduced to powerlifting in college and now his workouts revolve primarily around the "Big Three"; squat, bench and deadlift. He implements aspects of bodybuilding, stability, mobility and maximal power training into his workouts. Kevin brings a positive and friendly attitude to every session and uses the client's goals to add new and unique exercises to their workout routines. When not at work, you'll find Kevin working out and enjoying his last semester at CWRU, where he is a Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering student.

    Dan Freshwater

    Dan joined the One to One Fitness Training Staff in 2008. He holds a BS in Sports Management/ Business and is an Accredited Certified Personal Trainer through the National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF-CPT). Dan’s clients have succeeded with weight loss, gaining muscle mass, injury prevention, race training, toning, and enhancing general fitness levels. He enjoys making each client’s routine specific and functional to their life and/or sport. Dan has specialized training in low back and core strengthening, stretching and flexibility and working with special populations (pregnancy, obesity, diabetes, and arthritis). His drive is to see others achieve maximum success in their individual goals. Outside of One to One Fitness, Dan enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

  • Sheyenne Ledford Picture

    Shyenne Ledford

    Shyenne joined the One to One Fitness team in 2022. She graduated from the University of Mount Union in 2022 with studies in Criminal Justice/Law and Psychology. She received her Certified Personal Training Certification through the International Sports Sciences Association. Shyenne was introduced to fitness a young age, playing various sports and through college, where she was on the track and field team. Her favorite forms of exercise include strength training, cardio, CrossFit, and Olympic-style lifts. Outside of fitness, Shyenne loves to travel and hike in the mountains, spending time on Lake Erie looking for beach glass, reading, and ice cream (she believes flexibility is crucial to long term success and growth!).

    Daniel Mendes Augusto

    Daniel joined the One to One Fitness team in 2019. Daniel is from Brazil, where he graduated with a degree in physical education and worked as a personal trainer since 2009. He has many certifications, including StrongFirst Elite (body weight, kettlebell and barbell), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Tactical Fitness (Tacfit) and Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC), and more. His vast experience in different areas and his passion for helping others reach new levels allows him to have a unique perspective to training. He combines innovative, effective, and modern training programs and tools to help clients reach their goals.

    Melissa Parks

    Melissa joined the One to One Fitness Training Staff in February 2007. She holds certifications through Level 1 Kettlebell Concepts and is also a USA Powerlifting Club Coach. Melissa trained in the sport of Muay Thai and found her passion in helping others. Melissa feels it is important to teach her clients the correct technique and form when it comes to exercise so that they can have fun, feel safe, get stronger, and see results all at the same time. She likes to teach her clients the importance of strength training and how to set performance goals. Melissa likes to motivate her clients by giving them intense and diverse workouts and is rewarded when her clients reach their goals or exceed their expectations of themselves. She works with all ages and fitness levels and will gear the workout towards the client's goals and interests. Developing Type 1 Diabetes from her pregnancy in 2011 has given Melissa a different approach to health and exercise, and she would be happy to work with people with Diabetes to help them stay strong and healthy. When Melissa is not working, she is at the gym working towards her goals and enjoys spending time with her husband Ben and their daughter, Lizza.

    Ben Parks

    Ben has been a part of the One to One Fitness team since 2005.  He currently holds certifications through the NSCA, USA Powerlifting, and Hardstyle Kettlebell Club and previously held certifications through CrossFit and USA Weightlifting.  Ben takes a calculated approach to training people of all levels. His training style focuses on a balance of exercise technique, structured programming,  rest, recovery, to promote long term success.   Ben played sports growing up, and spent about 15 years training in various styles of martial arts. He competed for 3 years in both Muay Thai and MMA cage fighting. Ben currently participates in powerlifting competitions as a class 1 competitor in the USAPL. He was the USAPL State Champion in 2014 and 2016, as well as the Midwest Regional Champion in 2016.  Outside of the gym, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, and daughter, Lizza.

    Enrico Stahlschmidt

    Enrico joined the One to One Fitness Training Staff in 2022 as a Certified Personal Trainer accredited by the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM-CPT). After suffering from severe knee joint injury, Enrico became a Physical Therapist in Germany focusing on working in a holistic manner. He worked with a wide range of clients from all fitness levels and a focus on weight loss, muscle building, and weightlifting, as well as injury rehabilitation and prevention.

    While working towards his Doctor of Physical Therapy for U.S. licensure, Enrico uses his 11 years of physical therapy and sports training experience to help clients succeed with their goals. He is able to provide unique insight with his Physical Therapy background. 

    Outside of work, Enrico enjoys hiking and riding his bike along the Metroparks, weight lifting, HIIT workouts, and has recently joined the Cleveland Darter Club.
