Orientation Leaders favorite organization tool: Google Calendar

Every weekend I sit down before the school week starts and plug all of my meetings, office hours, or miscellaneous activities into my Google Calendar. Different things work for different people, but it is important to stay consistent in keeping up with it so you don’t fall behind or miss important events. - Madelyn ‘27, orientation leader

I use Google Calendar for everything. I create events for my classes, the extracurriculars that I'm planning to do, my workouts, and important deadlines. That way, I have everything that I need to keep track of in one place. - Anne ‘25,  orientation leader

Use Google Calendar! Our campus has a ton of clubs that will make shared calendars and you can even directly import your class schedule from SIS! - Courtenay ‘26, orientation leader

Google Calendar will be your best friend. Log work hours and free time and it will let you visually understand how you are managing your time.  - Emilia ‘26, orientation leader

The one thing I highly recommend for anyone is Google Calendar. I never used it when I was in high school and since coming to Case Western Reserve, if it's not on my calendar, it's not happening. - Patrick ‘27, orientation leader

I use Google Calendar to track everything and I list stuff that I need to do on there. Canvas will remind us of the deadlines but we also need to know what needs to be done and plan them accordingly. - Selina ‘27, orientation leader
