Did you know that CWRU has a dedicated office just for undergraduate research? The Undergraduate Research Office encourages and supports this important work starting as early as your first year on campus.
The staff in the Undergraduate Research Office can help you identify research projects or show you how to get started on your own research. They can guide you to have your research published in our undergraduate research journal or help identify other ways to have your work be published or presented at opportunities on our campus and conferences elsewhere. In addition, the Undergraduate Research Office provides funding for summer opportunities and travel to present your research.
Undergraduate research experience not only helps make you a strong candidate for graduate programs and employment, it also gives you the chance to explore various topics before committing to a specific area of study. The Undergraduate Research Office recommends that you attend one, “All About Finding Research,” information session during your first semester to learn the nuts and bolts for finding research on and around CWRU during the academic year and all over in the summer.
