Commuter parking is essential to your life at CWRU. The safest way to park is to purchase a parking permit. All commuter students are eligible for permits upon enrollment. They are assigned to various lots throughout the University's allocation. You may purchase your permit at Access Services at 18 Crawford Hall (in the basement). Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For general information, contact Access Services at 216.368.2273.

Note: All valid permit holders have the option to move to alternate locations after 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and all hours on weekends. Refer to the parking brochure or contact Access Services (216.368.2273) for specific details on after hours parking.

Getting to the Main Campus: Students parking in Lot 47 may ride the CircleLink. Students parking in Lot S-46 may take the commuter shuttle.

Cleveland Metered Street Parking

Parking is free in front of a meter from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday and all day Saturday, Sunday and major holidays (Christmas, Independence Day, etc.).

Safe Ride Program

Safe Ride provides transportation around campus and University Circle. Police and security officers will transport students and staff in a specially marked security van from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m. daily. Those interested in using the new Safe Ride program must call the police dispatcher at 368.3000 to arrange transportation. Once passengers provide their name, pick-up location, destination, and a call back number, they will be given an approximate wait time for transportation. If an officer is unavailable for the Safe Ride program, campus police will offer a walking escort or bus schedule information as an alternative.
