In a panel discussion, the community nutrition research team at the Mary Ann Swetland Center for Environmental Health and their partners will highlight their iterative, community- and partner-engaged approach to developing nutrition equity tools and technologies by showcasing two ongoing projects: FM Engage and PSE READI. FM Engage (Farmers Market Engage) is a web app that encourages the integration of farmers markets into food shopping routines for families with children shopping with SNAP benefits. PSE READI is a readiness assessment tool that supports the implementation of healthy eating Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) interventions within six diverse settings: farmers market, food retail, childcare, farm-to-school, food pantries, and K-12 schools.
