What is a Shared Resource Community Engagement (CE) Studio?
The purpose of the Shared Resource Community Engagement (CE) Studio offered by the Mary Ann Swetland Center for Environmental Health is to provide consultation services for researchers interested in receiving feedback from community experts based on lived experiences related to a health topic or population. A CE Studio is an evidence-based approach to enrich research and/or programmatic initiatives by improving recruitment and retention, design processes and implementation, dissemination, and sustainability planning based on insights from community experts. The proposed shared resource extends opportunities for CE Studios beyond capacities supported by the CTSC of Northern Ohio while supporting a sustainability plan for these services beyond the CTSC grant.
