What We Bring to the Table: Exploring Community Food Access and Experience

Event Date:
September 15th 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Please join the Emergency Food Assistance and Food Security team’s photo exhibition event, titled ‘What We Bring to the Table: Exploring Community Food Access and Experience'.
This event is the product of a collaboration between the Mary Ann Swetland Center at Case Western Reserve University and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.

This event showcases the photos and captions created by Cleveland residents as a part of the photovoice process. Their resultant images and words reflect on sources of pride and areas that demand change within their food environments, and contribute to community discourse surrounding health, equity, and nutrition.

Please join us on Thursday, September 15th from 4:00pm until 5:30pm at the Martin Luther King Jr. Library Branch in Cleveland, for the presentation of this exhibit, in addition to several speeches by study affiliates and community leaders at the forefront of the food equity movement. Light refreshments will be provided; please RSVP by September 8th.
