Colin McEwen writes about the people making headlines in the School of Law as well as the research and happenings within the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. Before joining the team at Case Western Reserve University, Colin served as the public information officer for the City of Lakewood. Previously, he was the founding editor of Lakewood Patch, an online daily news site. McEwen also co-owned and operated Mahall’s 20 Lanes, a bar/restaurant, music venue and oldest bowling alley in the state of Ohio, before selling the business in 2021. He lives in Lakewood with his wife, Kelly, and their three children, Ruby, Clyde and Stelio.
