Alireza Fallahtafti, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Operations at the Weatherhead School of Management (WSOM), Case Western Reserve University, where he has been on the faculty since 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering in 2021. Since beginning his academic career, he has taught extensively and brings a decade of industry experience, including senior analyst and leadership roles, underpinned by graduate management studies completed at Université Grenoble Alpes.

His dedication to teaching has been recognized through multiple honors, including nominations for the Weatherhead Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award in 2022–2023 and 2024–2025, and receiving the award in 2024–2025. With a strong focus on integrating academic knowledge with practical insights, Dr. Fallahtafti actively contributes through advising, research, publications, and conference participation. Prior to joining WSOM, he served as a visiting Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Analytics at the Farmer School of Business, Miami University.
