They could largely sell the same products and services to the same markets while keeping the same business model, and they’d do fine. Today’s businesses, however, don’t have that luxury. The research is clear: If you’re not reinventing your organization every 2-3 years, you’ll be dead -- sooner rather than later. With disruption and uncertainty a constant, the work of organizational development professionals has to be re-imagined, re-shaped, and reinvented. In this interactive session, I will share the latest insights from our proprietary research on the speed of change (previously featured in such publications as the Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and the European Financial Review) - as well as my own experience at the executive table. Our goal in this session is to explore challenges and solutions for making organizational development fit for the new world. Often called “The Reinvention Guru” and “The Queen of Reinvention,” Nadya is a scientist, entrepreneur, and author specializing in resilience and reinvention. Nadya earned her PhD in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, USA, where she also served as an Associate Director at the Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, now Fowler Center for Sustainable Value, until 2008. As a consultant and educator, Nadya helped such companies as Coca-Cola, Cisco, L’Oreal Group, Danone, Henkel, Erste Bank and others reinvent their products, leadership practices, and business models to meet new market demands and prepare for incoming disruptions. As a speaker, she delivered keynotes and workshops to over 100,000 executives and four TEDx talks. Her “How to Kill Your Own Company” TEDx talk has gathered close to 350,000 views. As an author, she wrote several award-winning books – most recently, “The Chief Reinvention Officer Handbook: How to Thrive in Chaos,” and her work has been featured in a variety of publications, including the Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and The European Financial Review.
