Majdi B. Abulaban is the President and CEO of Superior Industries, one of the world's leading aluminum wheel suppliers for OEMs.
Prior to this, Mr. Abulaban was the Delphi senior vice president and president of the Delphi Electrical/Electronic Architecture Segment (E/EA) and President of the Engineered Components Group, a position he has held since February 2017. Additionally, he served as Delphi's Asia Pacific president, where he oversaw Asia operations that included Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Australia.
Based in Shanghai, Mr. Abulaban began his Delphi career in 1985 as a manufacturing engineer in Warren, Ohio. Since then, he has held several assignments within the company, including finance manager, Delphi E/EA China; director, Asia Pacific Operations for the Thermal Systems division and even a North America position as business line executive for cockpits. In July 2002, Mr. Abulaban was named managing director, Asia Pacific, E/EA and he became managing director, Delphi Connection Systems in 2006. Since 2012, he served as Delphi senior vice president and president of the Delphi Electrical/Electronic Architecture.
Mr. Abulaban earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master's degree from Case Western Reserve University. He is vice chairman of the Shanghai Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (SAEFI) and a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of Case Western Reserve University's Institute for Management and Engineering.
