Support your alma mater
Gifts from alumni and friends help Case Western Reserve stay on the cutting edge of research, engage our local community, expand access through scholarships and raise the university's profile around the globe.
When you give back to your alma mater, you send a message that you value your education. Strong alumni support helps attract and retain faculty, students and staff who think beyond the possible. Plus, as CWRU’s reputation grows, so does the value of your diploma.
There are many ways to make your gift and countless funds to support. We've outlined a few options on this page, and invite you to also explore our giving website.
Annual Fund
Your gift to Case Western Reserve University directly impacts students. Beyond funding campus resources and facility upkeep, annual contributions fuel scholarship support—making a CWRU education accessible to the brightest minds, regardless of financial circumstances.
The Alumni Association of CWRU Endowed Scholarship
In 2016, The Alumni Association of CWRU's Board of Directors set out to raise $25,000 for a term scholarship. Motivated by early successes, they increased their goal in 2018, and the fund was endowed at more than $60,000 in 2021.
Fueled by the support of more than 450 alumni and friends, the fund is valued today at more than $121,000, and plays an important role in ensuring more students can reap the benefits of a Case Western Reserve education.
LaNyah Terry, CWRU Class of 2026, is the inaugural recipient of the endowed scholarship.
“My family and I are so grateful for this scholarship and for the alumni support that made it possible,” Terry said. “I hope the program continues for other students because it has made such a big difference for me. It means the world.”
