Megan Gergen, MPA

Assistant Director for Student Services and Engagement, Office of the Provost, Flora Stone Mather Center for Women

Megan Gergen (she/her) is the Assistant Director for Student Services and Engagement where she oversees campus-wide prevention education and awareness campaigns, focused on violence prevention and power-based personal violence.

Megan joined CWRU with over a decade of experience working with survivors of domestic violence and gender-based violence. While at Journey Center, Megan worked as an Advocate in a variety of settings, as well as providing outreach and education to the community and professionals. Megan has a passion for supporting individuals and communities impacted by gender-based violence through advocacy, prevention, education, and awareness.

Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations from Carroll College in Helena, Montana, and a Master of Public Administration and Graduate Certificate of Non-profit Management from Kent State University.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys baking, reading, playing volleyball, and finding the best local patios to enjoy Cleveland summer.
