Research is at the core of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women's mission. The Mather Center conducts original research on gender equity in education; hosts a journal for women's and gender equity centers; produces evaluation research on our programs that we disseminate through research briefs; conducts a bi-annual gender equity report at the University; and supports faculty, staff, and student research related to gender equity through research grants.

The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women offers Research & Professional Development Grants to support the professional development and research of women-identified individuals in underrepresented fields such as STEM and research on feminism or women and gender equity.
Using evaluation data from our programs The Mather Center produces Research Brief practitioners and policy makers to advance gender equity at the CWRU and across higher education.
The Journal for Women and Gender Centers in Higher Education is a peer reviewed open access journal launching at the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women at Case Western Reserve University that publishes knowledge created by and for Women’s and Gender Equity Centers in higher education.
Each year the Mather Center produces an Impact Report to highlight our achievements throughout the academic year.
