The Global Startup Experience Program offers Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) students an immersive experience in an entrepreneurial ecosystem beyond the US. Our mission is to provide a transformative experience that bridges pedagogy with cross-culture business practices.

The students are hosted by the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) and collaborate with startup companies that are participating in NTHU’s Garage startup accelerator. Accommodations are in NTHU dorms during the program which runs from June 22, 2026 through July 17, 2026.

2026 Program Goals include:

  • Professional Development: Students exercise entrepreneurial skills and gain an understanding of business operations within a different cultural context.
  • Cultural Exchange: The program is designed to foster mutual understanding and exchange between CWRU students and their Taiwanese counterparts, promoting a global mindset and strengthening international relationships.
  • Network Expansion: Students connect with local entrepreneurs, CWRU alumni, and industry professionals, expanding their professional network and opening doors to future opportunities.

In addition to the experience, participants in the Global Startup Experience Program focus on ways that Taiwan can strengthen its entrepreneurial ecosystem. The program is structured as a platform for growth, discovery, and connection. Through the collaboration of our students, alumni, and the Taiwanese startup community, this experience seeks to shape the next generation of global business leaders.
