The Veale Entrepreneurship Lab is a structured summer accelerator designed to support early-stage venture teams as they refine, validate, and grow their ideas into viable businesses. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and cohort collaboration. Prior customer discovery is required, and each team must have a minimum viable product (MVP)—a functioning solution that demonstrates the core value proposition.
Participating teams will consist of a minimum of two actively engaged members. At least one team member serving in a C-suite role (e.g., CEO, CTO, COO) and currently enrolled at Case Western Reserve University or recently graduated within the past year. Teams must be able to fully commit to the program’s schedule and time requirements. The program begins with a one-week intensive the week of June 1st, followed by regular programming from June 8 through August 7.
Weekly programming includes:
- Monday Workshops (full day) focused on core venture development topics
- Wednesday Cohort Collaboration (full day) emphasizing peer learning and progress sharing
- Friday Speaker Sessions (half day) featuring founders, operators, and industry experts
- Internal mentor meetings (30 minutes, scheduled flexibly)
- External mentor meetings (30 minutes, scheduled flexibly)
The program concludes with a final one-week intensive wrap-up from August 10–14, focused on synthesis, next steps, and venture readiness beyond the program.
