The Tinkham Veale-Barbara R. Snyder Entrepreneurial Fellowship (Veale Snyder Fellowship) is an experiential entrepreneurship program that spans the academic year and is offered by the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship. The fellowship is designed for rising sophomores and juniors in any major and immerses students in entrepreneurial learning and innovation through a blend of credit-bearing coursework and real-world experiences. Fellows engage in foundational courses and gain practical skills in value creation, leadership, and start-up thinking. A signature component of the program includes an educational trek to Silicon Valley to meet with alumni working in large and small tech companies in the fall and an entrepreneurship experience in the spring, connecting students with top innovators and entrepreneurial ecosystems. The fellowship fosters collaboration among diverse peers, expands professional networks, and equips emerging leaders with the mindset and tools to launch ventures or drive innovation within existing organizations.
Many imagine Silicon Valley as being a mecca of technology, a premier global innovation hub and an enthralling place to work.
