Custodial Services

The Department of Custodial Services within the Department of Campus Planning & Facilities Management at Case Western Reserve University is responsible for providing a healthy, sanitary and safe environment for the university community by providing an acceptable standard for cleanliness throughout the university.

Cleaning Requests

Cleaning requests should be made to the Customer Service Center by phone 216.368.2580 or email customerservice@case.edu. Calls placed after-hours will be forwarded to the CWRU Public Safety dispatch office. Only emergency requests will be responded to after-hours.

Special Requests

Please schedule your non-routine cleaning requests such as carpet shampooing, floor refinishing, and additional manpower for special events as far in advance as possible by contacting the Customer Service Center at 216.368.2580 or customerservice@case.edu.

Academic Custodial Services

Academic Custodial Services is responsible for cleaning the interiors of all classrooms, lecture halls, theaters, laboratories, libraries, offices, halls, stairs, elevators, and public areas as well as cleaning and restocking building restrooms on a regularly scheduled basis.

Housing Custodial Services is responsible for the cleaning of residence halls, Greek houses, Property Management apartments, and The Triangle.
