The purpose of the International Travel Risk Management Policy is to ensure an understanding of standardized risk management and required registration procedures concerning international travel at Case Western Reserve University.
Specifically, the purpose of this policy is to:
- Outline the registration procedures prior to international travel
- Explain the benefits provided to Case Western Reserve constituents upon registration
- Create clear guidelines to protect all Case Western Reserve community members when traveling abroad
The International Travel Risk Management Policy was developed over the course of multiple years by a committee of representatives from across Case Western Reserve.
Prior to its approval by President Barbara R. Snyder on September 10, 2020, the policy was reviewed by the Faculty Senate, Staff Advisory Council and the International Affairs Advisory Council.
The policy is effective as of January 1, 2021.
