Case Western Reserve University libraries and the OhioLINK Consortium are upgrading their library services platforms (LSP) in June 2025 to Ex Libris Alma/Primo VE. The LSP is the suite of software that libraries use to acquire, manage and lend resources and allows users to search those resources. This LSP upgrade will position libraries to:
- Support 21st century teaching, learning, and research,
- Streamline day-to-day operations, and
- Enhance stability and security.
The campus community can expect enhancements to the libraries’ catalog searching, access and delivery of electronic resources, and streamlined borrowing from other OhioLINK member libraries.
Staff at university libraries are working to prepare for this major transition.
